The other day I saw a bumper sticker that said, "Independance: Alberta's only hope"
It is our only hope, too bad everyone is so bloody apathetic. Not that I don't still hate bumper stickers. In Memory of Petey [Dave] Time:1:16 AM Thursday, March 13, 2003
I have had like, 0 internet time the past few days. So yeah.
Anyway, um. What to talk about. I finally got my Rush of Blood to the Head CD back. It's so awesome. I'm looping it now - obviously. Well, it would be obvious if you could see me, cos I have the loop button pu-okay, forget I mentioned it. I've kind of stopped smoking my pipe, and it's driving me crazy. See, I ordered a new pipe and it NEVER CAME! And the tobacco my mom got me is seriously really really cheap nasty stuff. So put that with a burnt out pipe (literally) and you have a very unpleasant experience. Right now, I'm living with my grandparents (on holiday), and when I go to my dad's mom's place, there's no internet, so expect my posts here to come in short bursts of...oooh, I'd say a week at a time. Did you know that shooting rabbits rocks? Yeah, because see, rabbits eat the garden, so it's okay to shoot them. I shot a robin, and then felt REALLY really bad about it, because what did the poor old robin do to deserve death? Nothing. But mutilating rabbits is wickedfun. Yesterday I went to the library to pay some (year old) fines that had accumulated, and I felt a little dumb just paying the fines, so I got out the first book that caught my eye: "The House of the Dead" by Fyodor Dostoyevsky. The librarian gave me a strange look, but nothing more. I thought she was going to kill me, the way some of them look at you.
Thats all. In Memory of Petey [Dave] Time:11:46 AM Wednesday, March 12, 2003
I've been feeling a little down lately, and really not in a writing blogs mood, hence the dissapearance. Maybe its all the Halo I've been playing recently (Ha! Ha!).
Anyways, the lack of any excitement in my life has drawn me to blowing up mundane things into action/adventure stories, like this one: Today I had to refill the ink cartrige. I took out the instructions and read them through, then proceeded to drill a hole in the appopriate place for yellow ink. But when I pulled the drill out, I noticed blue, not yellow ink had stained it! What was I to do? Were the instructions wrong, or should I just do what it said, despite common sense? After much deliberation (20 seconds tops) I decided to drill through each of the 3 colour chambers and put it in the one that was yellow. Dave saves the day again.
