Someone called me a Nazi today. (I won't mention any names, like Kim's name for instance) I've never been called a Nazi before. Oh, wait, yeah I have.

I got the Tribunal expansion pack for Morrowind today. Thank God for PCs. The Xbox has a special version of Morrowind (yet to be released?) that has elements of the two expansion packs in it, but nothing can beat a full-on expansion pack. I can't wait to try it out.

Calvin, speaking as he is moved of Bill Watterson:
"I think life should be more like TV. I think all of life's problems should be solved in 30 minutes with simple homilies, don't you? I think weight and oral hygene outh to be our biggest concerns. I think we should all have powerful, high-paying jobs, and everyone should drive fancy sports cars. All our desires should be instantly gratified. Women should wear tight clothes, and men should carry powerful handguns. Life overall should be more glamorous, thrill-packed, and filled with applause, don't you think?" Words to live by. And, I might add, all the losers would die tragic and gory deaths right at the beginning. In Memory of Petey [Dave] Time:5:51 PM Wednesday, June 04, 2003

So, I busted out my old Travis CD's tonight. I must say, The Man Who is still probably my top favourite album of all time. I mean, it was my first love. It was my first CD ever that wasn't a movie soundtrack. It was the first secular music I ever loved. And even now, despite my love for other bands, I can't stop listening to this album now. I love it so much. Slideshow, Why Does Tt Always Rain On Me, The Fear, Driftwood... they're all such beautiful songs. Such beautiful songs...
In other news, for some reason I've been watching a lot of romantic comedies lately. And you know, I normally would be ashamed of that, except that they involve guys like John Cusack (hi-fi, serendepity, grosse point blank), Ewan McGregor (a life less ordinary, moulin rouge...okay, moulin rouge isn't a comedy). But anyway, I'm of the opinion that as long as romantic based movies involve strong male characters as opposed to female characters, they're fine for guys to watch. So yeah. OK, so I used to really like Edgar Allen Poe. And who couldn't love "The Raven" or "Telltale Heart"? They're classics. I once memorized "The Raven", because it rocks. But then I got out some of his short stories, and became immidiately dissilusioned. I read about four of them and found that they were all the bloody same. (Actually I read the stories and then became dissilusioned, but that isn't the point)
Then, about a week ago, I got his literary criticisms, and found him to be not such the cad I'd proclaimed him to be. The first review was on this sappy novel about lovers and feuds and scandals, and he tore it up like a frog in a blender, which amused me to no end. So now I rather enjoy the guy. But who knows, really, tomorrow I might be cursing him from the rooftops. Which is really fun, especially if you can get a good tan in too.
