yelvis nevets: i was looking at them
yelvis nevets: and i realised
yelvis nevets: for the first time in mylife, i love people
yelvis nevets: [/gayness]
yelvis nevets: but it was weird
yelvis nevets: it was like
Oringlorin: lol
yelvis nevets: i saw them
Oringlorin: what do you mean?
yelvis nevets: and they were all happy
yelvis nevets: and even though i had no idea who they were
yelvis nevets: it made me happy that they were happy
yelvis nevets: i used to hate people
yelvis nevets: with a passion
yelvis nevets: like, absolutely was horrified and hated them
Oringlorin: lol
yelvis nevets: but then i realised
yelvis nevets: they're all just me
yelvis nevets: going through their lives
yelvis nevets: living and being the best they can perhaps
yelvis nevets: maybe even christians
yelvis nevets: or to-be
Oringlorin: yeah
yelvis nevets: and that's when i realised
Oringlorin: yeah totally
yelvis nevets: that's what rocks about life
yelvis nevets: anyway lol
yelvis nevets: didn't mean to preach
Oringlorin: no i totally know what you mean
Oringlorin: except that i've never "hated" people per se
yelvis nevets: well
Oringlorin: but when i was a little kid
yelvis nevets: i exagerated that
yelvis nevets: [i just thought people sucked and were stupid]
Oringlorin: i was looking at this big picture book at the library
Oringlorin: and there was this picture of this jungle
Oringlorin: and a whole big heap of skulls and bones of people
Oringlorin: like a mass burial, an ancient mass burial
yelvis nevets: a real one??
Oringlorin: or like a slaughter
yelvis nevets: oj
Oringlorin: yeah
Oringlorin: real
yelvis nevets: oh
Oringlorin: and it sort of hit me
yelvis nevets: i thought you meant like, from some recent war thing
Oringlorin: oh, no, like some explorer took a photograph
Oringlorin: or somethine
Oringlorin: something-
Oringlorin: anyways
Oringlorin: it hit me that all these people had lives and loves of their own, each one of them
yelvis nevets: dude!
Oringlorin: and i was like "holy shit!"
yelvis nevets: exactly
yelvis nevets: i don't remember what it was i saw recently
yelvis nevets: it was something to do with war
Oringlorin: only i didn't swear back then.
yelvis nevets: like,
yelvis nevets: i think it was some list of people who'd died
yelvis nevets: just like a statistical list
Oringlorin: oh yeah
yelvis nevets: and i was like
yelvis nevets: these aren't just names
yelvis nevets: oh
yelvis nevets: i remember
yelvis nevets: it was a civil war photo
yelvis nevets: with these bloated guys on it
yelvis nevets: and i had this mental flash of their families
Oringlorin: oh yeah
Oringlorin: yeah
yelvis nevets: recieving word they were dead
yelvis nevets: or may be never even knowing what happened to them
yelvis nevets: and i realised, they weren't just pictures in a book
yelvis nevets: they lived once
yelvis nevets: breathed and ate and thought and felt and dreamed
Oringlorin: yeah, man.
yelvis nevets: that's when is tarted to snap otu of it
Oringlorin: yeah
yelvis nevets: it's a crazy, amazing thought
yelvis nevets: that's really made me appreciate what i have
Oringlorin: yeah totally
yelvis nevets: because maybe someady i'll be a photo too
Oringlorin: and one day you might be there
Oringlorin: dude!
Oringlorin: yeah.
yelvis nevets: totally
yelvis nevets: lol
Oringlorin: lol we're going really deep man.
yelvis nevets: i know man
yelvis nevets: this happens to me late at night ;-)
yelvis nevets: dude
yelvis nevets: we gotta post this
Oringlorin: yeah

What he

What he was

steve: and there are going to be so many faggos saying I MADE IT UP
dave: lol yeah.

I find this
topic to be very awesome, and am proud to be friends with John - who could be said to be the grandfather of OMB. I feel like some guardian of Ancient Knowledge.

Me and Dave? Pardon my colloquial vernacular. I meant to say Dave and I.

Well, it's not that the Eskimos suck or anything, just that the game is over, and me and Dave felt that leaving up team colours would take the meaning out of them. That is to say, the colours would have become just another colour scheme, and hold no meaning. Instead, if used every time there's a big game or something, colours hold a meaning. Just like putting up christmas colours and leaving them all year would make them no longer christmas-ful.
So, I suggested a wintery scheme. Dave said - my own thoughts as well - that it shouldn't look like my blog. So I thought, what could be more wintery than a subdued colour scheme that pulls all of it's colours directly from concept art for the up-coming Xbox RPG
Fable?
I don't know, maybe something more wintery?
Anyway, any complaints are welcomed, and if you don't like it just let me know.
and i'll take you off my christmas list.
