WRITER AND PHOTOGRAPHER GIVES UP CIGARETTES

In a move that is sure to shake the very foundations of many organisations, writer and photographer Steven Sivley (also known as Marcus Conrad) has said today that it he has, in fact, stopped smoking cigarettes. 'After [finishing the last pack], I decided not to buy anymore [cigarettes].'
When asked why, Sivley replied, '[cigarettes] have completely wrecked my sense of smell and taste, and I'm tired of being unable to exercise [like non-smokers]. I'm also tired of my hands always smelling [like cigarette smoke.'
He later added, however, that he was planning on buying 'probably another [tobacco] pipe, for occasional smoking when I am [out] in the country and what have you.'
